This is a stage instrument. Everything about the scale assumes an audience and a lot of air. Against the Yamaha C5 it is 27 cm taller and 57 kg heavier.

Middling for weight in a range that spans 255 kg to 480 kg.

Yamaha is the brighter and quicker of the two, which is why exam candidates keep asking for one. Some players find the treble tiring over long sessions. Neither is better. Play both, which you can do on one floor at the shop.
