What The KG-6C Sounds Like

Designed to be heard over an orchestra at the back of a hall. In a domestic room it produces more sound than the space can absorb. Against the Kawai KG-7D it is 2 cm shorter and 90 kg lighter.

Middling for weight in a range that spans 272 kg to 510 kg.

Kawai voicing runs warmer than Yamaha at the same size, particularly up top. People who practise for hours tend to prefer it. It is a preference, not a ranking. Come and sit at both.
