What The U2D Sounds Like

The U2 bass with an older voice: slightly rounder on top than the later generations where the hammers have been renewed sympathetically. Where they have not, it can sound tired.

Sits at the start of the U2 alphabet. It is the same scale as every other U2, so the difference is condition and nothing else.

Yamaha is the brighter and quicker of the two, which is why exam candidates keep asking for one. Some players find the treble tiring over long sessions. It is a preference, not a ranking. Come and sit at both.
