What The U2M Sounds Like

The U2 middle with a slightly firmer, later action feel. Clear rather than warm, which suits exam preparation more than it suits background playing.

Late in the U2 run, so examples are generally younger than the D or E instruments. That usually shows in the cabinet more than in the tone.

Yamaha is the brighter and quicker of the two, which is why exam candidates keep asking for one. Some players find the treble tiring over long sessions. It is a preference, not a ranking. Come and sit at both.
