Is The YUS3 Right For You?

What The YUS3 Sounds Like

This is as close as an upright gets to a grand in the bass. It also needs a room that can take that much sound.

Set against the Yamaha U1H, the most commonly sold used Yamaha here, it is 10 cm taller and 30 kg heavier. Near the top of the weight range, which runs from 180 kg up to 254 kg.

Yamaha is the brighter and quicker of the two, which is why exam candidates keep asking for one. Some players find the treble tiring over long sessions. There is no right answer here. Both are on the floor, so try them back to back.
