What The U10A Sounds Like

Recognisably the U1 family voice, clear and quick, with the compact bass that comes with a 121 cm case. Nothing about it is unusual, which is a compliment in a practice instrument.

The 10A naming sits outside the familiar U1 letters but the size and behaviour are the same class. It gets overlooked because the name is less recognised.

Yamaha is the brighter and quicker of the two, which is why exam candidates keep asking for one. Some players find the treble tiring over long sessions. Neither is better. Play both, which you can do on one floor at the shop.
